Autumn is getting closer together with the traditional food and wine festivals in the territory surrounding Lake Maggiore. As for the past editions, this year, the appointments with the local culinary traditions, promoted by “Distretto Turistico dei Laghi“, are original and numerous!

Below, the detailed calendar of the festivals:

• 5 - 6 September: Blueberry Festival in Bognanco (Saturday from 8.00pm and Sunday from 11.00am)

• 5 - 6 September: Porcino Mushroom Festival in Nebbiuno (Saturday from 7.00pm and Sunday from 9.00am.)

• 10 – 14 September: Grape Festival in Masera (every evening from 7.00pm, Saturday from 2.30pm, Sunday from 9.30am)

• 13 September: Mushroom Festival and Exhibition in Gignese (from 10.00am to 4.00pm)

• 18 - 20 September: Mushroom Festival in Trontano (Friday from 7.00pm, Saturday and Sunday from 11.00am to 12.00pm)

• 19 – 20 September: Polenta Festival in Nebbiuno (Saturday from 7.00pm and Sunday all day long)

• 26 September: “Gustus” (VCO traditional food products) in Mergozzo (from 4.00pm to 11.00pm)

• 26 – 27 September: Walnut Festival in Antrona Schieranco (from 11.00am)

• 4 October: Polenta Festival in Beura Cardezza (from 11.00am to 6.00pm)

• 4 October: Chestnut Festival in Massino Visconti (from 12.30pm)

• 4 October: Wild Boar Festival in Ornavasso (from 10.00am to 6.00pm)

• 10 - 11 October: Apples Festival in Omegna (Saturday from 2.00pm and Sunday from 10.00am)

• 11 October: Chestnut Festival in Gignese (from 12.00pm)

• 11 October: Chestnut Festival in Seppiana (from 11.00am)

• 11 October: Chocolate Festival in Gravellona Toce (from 10.00am to 6.00pm)

• 11 October: Chestnut Festival in Nebbiuno (from12.00pm to 6.00pm)

• 16 - 18 October: Pumpkin Festival in Omegna (from 9.00am to 7.00pm)

• 17 - 18 October: Pumpkin Festival (“Fuori di Zucca”) in Santa Maria Maggiore (from 10.00am to 6.00pm)

• 18 October: Cake and Chestnut Festival in San Maurizio d’Opaglio (from 2.30pm)

• 24 - 25 October: “Cioccolago” (chocolate festival) in Mergozzo (Saturday from 4.00pm to 10.00pm and Sunday from 10.00am to 7.00pm)

• 30 - 31 October: Honey and Apples Festival in  Baceno (from 10.00am to 8.00pm)

• 30 - 31 October: “Chocomoments” (chocolate festival) in Stresa (from 10.00am to 8.00pm)

• 8 November: “Craf in Crof “ in Baceno (from 9.00am)

• 15 November: Gorgonzola Cheese Festival in Stresa (from 11.00am polenta with gorgonzola in Piazza Cadorna)
