By car: A26 motorway to Gravellona Toce, then SS33 Sempione, pass Domodossola, exit for Valle Formazza and you will soon reach Crodo.

General Description:    

Beautiful circular itinerary in the Antigorio Valley on  roads with low traffic at the foot of Mount Monte Cistella, between pastures and farm buildings well preserved and beautiful panoramas.

The route:    

From the Latteria Antigoriana take the road for Mozzio and Viceno that gradually goes up winding. From Viceno turn in direction of Cravegna and immedialtely after the stream Alfenza take the track for Deccia and follow it up to the alp. From Deccia you go back following the track and reach the deviation for Voma, follow it remaining more or less on the flat trail. From Voma take a trail bordered by small stone walls leading into the valley of the Alfenza and pass the stream (almost always dry). Immediately after passing the stream a track starts leading to Foppiano and from here, following the road, you will go back to Viceno. Continue up to the church of Cravegna and take the road for Navasco. From here you enter the large mule track (trail G11) that leads, after a couple of bends, to the bridge on the stream Alfenza. Then go on the track, asphalted in the end,  which leads back to cross the road Crodo – Mozzio and you will soon be back at the departure point.
