The village of Nebbiuno is a favourite destination in summer, thanks to its enchanting view over Lake Maggiore.

The situation of the village means that from its altitude of 400 metres you can easily reach Mount Cornaggia and Mount Toriggia (900 mt a.s.l.), from where there is a stunning view over the Lombard shore of the lake.

Nature dominates this area, which is well-known for commercial flower and fruit growing, an important resource for the local economy. Nebbiuno was once a flourishing industrial centre, with a variety of mills and factories, including a small electric power station, iron works and a paper mill. Today nothing remains of this industrial activity but a few ruins, such as the Brocchetta, a small stone building on the Via delle Fabbriche, a road leading from the centre of Nebbiuno, and the Follaccia paper mill on a cliff 80 metres high above the valley; it used the water of the river Strolo to turn the wooden wheels that activated the machinery.

Historically and culturally interesting are the Parish Church of San Giorgio and the small Church of Santi Nazaro and Celso in the hamlet of Corciago. The early history of the area is reflected in some archaeological finds and Gallo-Roman and Roman necropolises of the 1st and 2nd centuries AD excavated nearby.
