Every Thursday (every fortnight in the winter), Piazza Grande is packed with stalls selling products of all kinds.

The local craft stalls, selling fabrics, knitwear, wood and ceramic articles are quite unique and highly characteristic. You can also find typical Ticino food products in the market, including fresh cheeses, eggs, and fruit and veg from local growers. The market also sells second hand goods including records, cassettes, books and clothes.
