About
The cuisine of Ristorante Novecento is characterised by simple ingredients and cleverly executed, creative recipes.
The restaurant’s dishes are always appetising and never banal. Everything about the establishment is stylishly perfectionist; the highest levels of care and attention are expressed by menus carefully aligned on the tablecloths, and attractive matching details. The pleasant compilation of background music spans genres that include Oriental, East European, and Brazilian salsa, creating an intriguing multi-ethnic journey.
Everything is well designed, well organised and superbly controlled. Gourmet guests can therefore relax and concentrate on the superbly flavoured food, basking in the knowledge that they are personally served and expertly guided through an intriguing culinary experience. The crockery is by Schunhuber Franchi, the glasses by Spiegelau and the 18-10 cutlery by Sambonet. In the dining room, the unrivalled ex-Maitre, Simone Pilla has just returned to Milan and left his post to the equally valid Simone Cucchiarelli, ex-Cracco Peck and Trussardi at Milan’s Scala.
Menu: Diners can choose between a “Gusto” menu of 20th century flavours and a less challenging “Classico” menu. Individual à la carte dishes cost an average of 25€.
