Corto e Fieno is the Film Festival dedicated to the rural world that takes place every September in the area known as "Cuore Verde tra Due Laghi" (Ameno, Armeno, Briga Novarese, Colazza, Gozzano, Invorio, Massino Visconti, Miasino, Nebbiuno, Pisano e Pettenasco).

The Festival, born in 2010 on the initiative of Asilo Bianco Cultural Association, intends to examine, through the cinema, the persistence of the rural element in the contemporary society and to promote a renewal of the traditions of the land in an innovative and lasting way.

Every year in the Festival participates a selection of short movies, which compete to achieve the first place in the three categories: Frutteto (Orchard), Mietitura (Harvest), and Sempreverde (Evergreen).
