About
From Villadossola, using the network of mule tracks, you can visit the main rural hamlets grouped in closed villages and arranged linearly on the sunny slopes of the steep mountain slopes.
Noga (370 m): the houses are close to each other following the trend of the mountain, surrounded by terraced fields. There is a winepress for grapes. Some houses of the 17th Century have a richer architecture. The Beata Vergine del Rosario Church was built from 1663 and is decorated with precious paintings.
Daronzo (420 m): Palazzo Bianchetti stands inside an articulated complex construction of the seventeenth century, now largely changed.
Sogno (740 m): is the highest village of Villadossola and one of the oldest. Here comes the hiking trail of the Via dei Torchi e dei Mulini, the Winepress and mills Route, connecting Domodossola and the Sacro Monte Calvario to the Antrona Valley. The Oratory of San Giovanni Evangelista dates back to the 15th Century. Noteworthy are the numerous portals of the stone houses. The Museum of Rural Life collects tools, ancient customs and traditions related to farm work carried out on the territory.

Casa dei Conti (480 mt): the name of the village may be attributed to the Conti family who lived here in the 14th Century. It is the most significant hamlet characterized by the typical architectural style of popular art.
Boschetto (450 m): in the building of the “circolo”, (youth club), has been settled the Museum of Origins, equipped with an informative device aimed at the knowledge of the territory, and an hostel.
