The library Pietro Ceretti of Verbania will host, from July 6 to 29 August 2014, the festival Allegro con Brio in which art, theater and cinema will pay tribute to the Italian and international masterpieces of the past and the present.

In the 2014 edition the theme will be "Europe of the peoples and not of the banks." Allegro con Brio will propose a particular way to think about this subject, namely, participation, community, conviviality and brotherhood. Being together is perhaps the first step to build something that will help us be free. The events of the festival will follow precisely this direction.

• Sunday, July 6, 16:00, lakefront Pallanza-Suna: opening of Allegro con Brio 2014: Circus artists Inzir will be in the streets of Intra for an exciting parade of street arts.
  
  
• Sunday, July 6, at 21:00, park of the library: Comedy Circus Arts with performances from different disciplines, all performed by artists without animals.
  
  
• Tuesday, July 8, at 21:00, outside the library: screening of the film "Searching for Sugar Man" by Malik Bendjelloul. In case of bad weather the event will be held inside the library.
