From 25th to 27th May 2010 Lago Maggiore Meeting Industry will take part, for its second year, to Imex – Incorporating Meeting Exhibition in Frankfurt, Europe’s leading exhibition for meeting and incentive industry organized in association with the German Convention Bureau (GBC).

In the Hall 8 at IMEX you'll find over 3,500 exhibitors representing 157 countries. Last year over 3,700 hosted buyers from nearly 60 countries attended IMEX 2009 alongside 5,100 visitors from around 100 countries.

Lago Maggiore Meeting Industry will participate with a 20 mq stand showing local images to the professional buyers interested in the territory as the venue for an important meeting, congress, or conference. The conference facilities and the services available in the province of Verbano Cusio Ossola, Varese, Novara and Locarno consist in 394 hotels and 494 conference rooms seating a total of around 49.551 people. The promotional material of three convention and visitors bureaus - Lago Maggiore Conference, Varese Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Convention & Incentive Bureau of the Lake Maggiore Tourist Board - and the Leisure Time interactive CD, which summarises everything on offer for conference participants in their free time, will be handed out during the IMEX.

These meetings have been organised under the aegis of the Italian-Swiss project entitled “Meeting without borders: conferences and incentive trips on Lake Maggiore”, which is supposed to promote internationally the local conference facilities available by Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Novara, Varese and Locarno.

Lago Maggiore Meeting Industry will also take part to BTC Exhibition of Rimini from 1st to 2nd July 2010.
