On Sunday, August 14th, along the lakeside of Pallanza, the 44° edition of the traditional galleons’ regatta “Palio remiero”, which every year draws hundreds of spectators between locals and tourists, will take place.

An event that is rooted in history and tradition, the Palio remiero is the only rowing boats' race across Italy to take place at night.

The teams, each consisting of eight sailors and a helmsman, from lake and maritime cities, will start competing from 8.00 pm.
As for the past years, bright buoys that will create a striking effect on the Lake will define the competition field divided in three lanes.
