Legambiente and Ambiente Italia have published the 24th Urban Ecosystem report, based on 2016 data.

Mantua has been awarded first place, followed by Trento, Bolzano and Parma. At eighth place, Verbania has maintained a good position and is the highest-ranking town in Piedmont.

Verbania has once again earned its place as one of the top ten most environmentally sustainable cities in Italy.
