The rich September of events for the Sacro Monte of Ghiffa, in Verbano Cusio Ossola, began on Saturday September 3rd with the 17th Day for the Custody of Creation, organized by the Pastorale Sociale e del Lavoro together with the "Cammino di Santiago" (Way of Saint James) association; the initiative is part of the “Ora Viene il Bello” (The Best Begins Now) cycle of pilgrimages, organized by the CEI (the Italian bishops’ conference) which the diocese of Novara is also participating in. A series of days devoted to walking together immersed in nature, discovering the historical and artistic heritage of the territory represented by sanctuaries and Sacred Mountains.

On Sunday, September 4th on the lawn in front of the church there was a concert held as part of the Stresa Festival, which this year pays homage to Pier Paolo Pasolini in various events.

Another highlight will be a preview of the LetterAltura Festival on Saturday, September 17th, with the poetic walk with Lino Pasquale Cacciapaglia: departure at 3 pm from Ceredo and arrival at the Sacro Monte of Ghiffa around 6 pm.

While on September 18th, at 11 am there will be the inauguration of the collective exhibition "Faith and Beauty" curated by Lorenza Boisi.
