Programme

The event dedicated to the autumn flavors of Northern Piedmont returns to Baceno (VB) on Saturday November 4th and Sunday November 5th.

The program includes a rich exhibition-market, workshops, conferences, local flavours, music and shows.

The 31st edition of the Sagra MeleMiele will officially open on Saturday November 4th at 9:30 am, with the route of gastronomic and handicraft exhibitors throughout the village. Dozens of stands will line the streets and squares of Baceno, on Saturday from 9:30 am to 7 pm and on Sunday from 9:30 am to 6 pm.

On Saturday and Sunday, traditional flavours will be the absolute protagonists: on both days, from 12:30 pm, it will be possible to taste the "MeleMiele" risotto cooked in the giant Crafond pot, while between 11 am and 5 pm there will be a refreshment point with raclette (raclette is a Swiss dish consisting of cheese melted over a fire and then the melted part is scraped off; raclette is served with bread or boiled potatoes) and apple juice. The kitchen of the festival will be active in the closed-in and heated facility - for lunch and dinner on Saturday and for lunch on Sunday - with traditional dishes, cold cuts and cheese platters, first courses, second courses and traditional desserts.

Furthermore, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, tastings of pancakes from the festival organised by the “Mellerio Rosmini” School for the Hotel trade of Domodossola and roasted chestnuts prepared by the Alpini Group of Baceno.
