Programme

From July 6, the Il Lago Cromatico Festival will host the photography exhibition Nature on Display by Armando Bottelli. An exhibition, divided into two locations, that will lead us to the understanding of the great ecological corridor represented by the vast territory recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve within the MAB (Man and Biosphere) Program. This territory, in addition to including the four important protected areas, encompasses the vast area of Lake Maggiore, rich in environmental, landscape, and cultural values. The exhibition highlights the importance of these areas for the environment and biodiversity, fulfilling the informative value that photography undeniably possesses.

The exhibition is divided into two stages in the municipalities of Angera and Comabbio. In Angera, the territory from the Ticino Valley to Lake Maggiore will be presented. In parallel, in Comabbio, the territory of Lake Varese and the Campo dei Fiori Park will be featured.
