From 5 to 8 September 2024, Lago Maggiore will be the stage for the prestigious Trofeo Carlo Riva, an event that combines beauty, history and passion for sailing and vintage cars. The special occasion will be the reopening of the historic Marina di Lisanza, a nautical facility of excellence located just 60 kilometers from Milan, which offers 100 berths for hulls up to 16 meters in length, both internal and external.

Trofeo Carlo Riva: a prestigious inaugural event
The inauguration of the Marina di Lisanza will be celebrated with the Trofeo Carlo Riva, an event organized by the Società Riva Italia, the Riva Club Lago Maggiore and the Riva Club Suisse, with the support of the Riva Historical Society. This event, which will see the participation of the historic motorboats of the Riva shipyard designed by Carlo Riva, will be a tribute to the nautical tradition and the history of the most famous wooden motorboats in the world.

Vintage cars and special celebrations
The Trofeo Carlo Riva will not just be an event dedicated to motorboats. Vintage cars will be the protagonists thanks to the passion of Sordi, who through his Scuderia Mediolanum and Club Italia will bring some of the most precious historic vehicles on display. With 1430 trophies won over the years, Sordi is today one of the most important Italian collectors of sports cars.

The event will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 25 years of the Riva Club Lago Maggiore, chaired today by the lawyer Piero Tovaglieri from Busto Arsizio, another significant moment that will enrich the prestige of this event.
