On August 2, the race returns beneath the highest wall in Europe. In Macugnaga, a new edition of the MEHT (Monterosa Est Himalayan Trail) will take place, one of the toughest races for trail-running enthusiasts.
The competition will be divided into four formats: 58, 39, 21, and 13 kilometers. For the occasion, the MEHT Village will be set up as the event's nerve center, where participants can collect their race bibs and exchange opinions with fellow runners and event organizers.
Running this trail also offers the chance to connect with the centuries-old traditions of Macugnaga, also known as "The Pearl of Monte Rosa," reflected in the architecture of its houses, traditional costumes, the Titsch language (a dialect still spoken by some elders), and much more.
